Tracking Cookies Data

We use cookies and similar tracking technologies to track the activity on our Service and we hold certain information.

Cookies are files with a small amount of data which may include an anonymous unique identifier. Cookies are sent to your browser from a website and stored on your device. Other tracking technologies are also used such as beacons, tags and scripts to collect and track information and to improve and analyse our Service.

You can instruct your browser to refuse all cookies or to indicate when a cookie is being sent. However, if you do not accept cookies, you may not be able to use some portions of our Service.

Examples of Cookies we use:

1.3.1 Essential Cookies

Essential Cookies are necessary for the website to function properly. Such Cookies make a website usable by providing basic functions such as page navigation and access to secure areas of the website or language settings. Due to their importance for the website’s functioning, you cannot opt-out from this kind of Cookies. We base the related processing of personal data on Art. 6 (1) b GDPR, the contractual provision of our services.

Essential Cookies we use to provide this website include Cookies, which

  • detect whether a user uses Java Script,
  • allow a visitor to receive site content from one out of multiple servers as the user browses the site,
  • determine whether a user has accepted which category in the Cookie banner,
  • maintain the status of the user for all page requests.

Session cookies: Session cookies allow you to proceed through many pages of a site quickly and easily without having to authenticate or reprocess each new area you visit. Session cookies are combination of one or more temporary cookie files, which are erased when you close your browser. When you restart your browser and go back to the site that created the cookie, the website will not recognize you. You will have to log back in (if login is required) or select your preferences/themes again if the site uses these features.

Target Group : This is a special cookie to define the visibility of specific content to specific groups of users (i.e. HCPs, General public or Teachers) when they want to see a different ‘version’ of the website. This specifies which audience should be able to see which content on the website. For instance, if a content contains specific school or class related information, which should not be visible to the public, tagging it to be viewed by a Teacher audience will mean this content will only be visible to those who have identified themselves and have been validated as Teachers.

The lifetime of essential Cookies we use extends from the respective session up to one year.

1.3.2 Cookies for Website Optimization

Based on your consent (Art. 6 (1) a GDPR) we use Cookies to make our websites work more efficiently, as well as to recognize your device on subsequent visits to get information and statistics on your usage. You may withdraw your consent at any time without detriment and with future effect. To do so, please amend your settings here.

1.3.3 Marketing Cookies

We use Marketing Cookies which allow us to follow users to other websites to show ads that are relevant and engaging to the individual user. We base this processing on your consent (Art. 6 (1) a GDPR), which you may withdraw at any time with future effect and without detriment amending your settings under this link.

We use the following services of third-party providers:

Facebook & Instagram (Facebook Pixel):

We use the Facebook pixel in the basic version to display personalized ads by us and third parties for you on the Facebook and Instagram platforms. Facebook and Instagram are operated by Facebook Ireland Ltd, 4 Grand Canal Square, Grand Canal Harbour, Dublin 2 Ireland (“Facebook”).

For this purpose, we provide Facebook with information about your user activity on our website and certain other personal data (such as your user-ID) via a pixel. This data includes but is not limited to so called http headers (e.g. your IP address and information about your browser) and click data (i.e. the buttons clicked on our website as well as their descriptions and the web pages visited). This allows users of our website, when visiting the social network Facebook or Instagram or other websites that also use this function to display interest-based ads (“Facebook Ads” / “Instagram Ads”) and us to make our website even more interesting for you.

Due to the marketing tools used, your browser automatically builds a direct connection with the Facebook server. We have no influence on the extent and further use of the data collected by Facebook using the pixel. Through the integration of Facebook Custom Audiences, Facebook receives the information that you have visited and viewed one of our online offers or learns that you have clicked an ad shown by us. If you are registered with one of Facebook’s services, Facebook can assign the visit to your respective private account. Even if you are not registered by Facebook, or have not logged in, there is the possibility that the provider can discover and store your IP address and further identifiers. The Facebook pixel enables us to measure, evaluate and optimize the effectiveness of Facebook ads for statistical and market research purposes. We only receive anonymous reports from Facebook.

For logged-in users deactivation of the “Facebook Custom Audiences” function is also possible at www.facebook.com/settings/ (link is external). For more information about Facebook’s collection and use of this data and your rights and choices about protecting your privacy, please refer to Facebook’s Privacy Policy (https://www.facebook.com/privacy/explanation (link is external)). You can withdraw your consent to the use of the Facebook pixel at any time with effect for the future by following this link: https://www.facebook.com/login.php?next=https://www.facebook.com/ads/preferences/?entry_product=ad_settings_screen (link is external). To do this you must be logged in on Facebook or Instagram. For more information about Facebook’s data processing, please visit www.facebook.com/about/privacy (link is external).

Twitter (Conversion Tag):

We have also included the remarketing function of the Twitter service on our website. It is provided by Twitter Inc., 1355 Market Street, Suite 900, San Francisco, CA 94103, USA. With the Twitter remarketing function we can offer you advertising based on your interests on the Twitter platform. For this purpose, Twitter uses so-called “tags”. This tag is used to record visits on our website as well as usage data (e.g. all interactions relating to the advertising displayed such as clicking on links, retweets or likes) in a pseudonymous, non-personal way. If you subsequently visit Twitter, integrated ads are displayed based on your interests. Twitter will then receive information from your browser that our website has been accessed by your device. If you are registered with a Twitter service, Twitter can assign the visit to your account. Even if you are not registered on Twitter or have not logged in, it is possible that the provider may learn and store your IP address and other identifiers. The information generated by the tags about your use of our services is transferred to a Twitter server in the USA and stored there.

For more information on how to disable this feature on Twitter, see https://help.twitter.com/de/safety-and-security/privacy-controls-for-tailored-ads. For more information about Twitter’s data processing, please visit https://twitter.com/de/privacy.

LinkedIn (Insight-Tag):

We also use conversion tracking on our website with LinkedIn Insights Tag, a tool from LinkedIn Ireland, Wilton Plaza, Wilton Place, Dublin 2, Ireland. For this purpose, the LinkedIn Insight tag is integrated on our website and a cookie is set on your device by LinkedIn. LinkedIn is informed that you have visited our website and your IP address is collected. Timestamps and events such as page views are also stored. This enables us to statistically evaluate the use of our website in order to constantly optimize it. We learn, for example, which LinkedIn ad or interaction on LinkedIn brought you to our website. This allows us to better control how our ads are displayed.

For more information on Conversion Tracking, see https://www.linkedin.com/help/linkedin/answer/67595/linkedin-conversion-trackingubersicht (link is external). Please be aware that LinkedIn’s data can be stored and processed so that a connection to the respective user profile is possible and LinkedIn can use the data for its own advertising purposes. For more information, please see LinkedIn’s privacy policy at https://www.linkedin.com/legal/privacy-policy (link is external). You can prevent LinkedIn from analyzing your usage behavior and from displaying interest-based recommendations at https://www.linkedin.com/psettings/guest-controls/retargeting-opt-out.

Children’s Privacy

Online safety for children

We make sure that children are safe online and therefore have additional privacy processes to ensure our younger FAST Heroes are safe when using our online channels. We also take care not to knowingly collect, store, use or process any personal information of children who use these features without parental consent.

We also follow all relevant laws for children between the ages of 13 and 18, and for personal data we consider anyone under the age of 16 as a child.

When we process children’s personal information, we take additional steps to protect their privacy:

We make sure that we tell parents what personal information we collect, store, use and process about their child and explain if we share that information;

We comply with legal requirements by obtaining parental consent to the collection, use and processing of the child’s information and consent to the communication of information about our products and services to the child;

We limit how we collect, store, use and process the personal information of children so that only information reasonably required to participate in an online activity is collected;

We allow parents access to or access to the personal information we collect from their child – parents may also request that their children’s personal information be changed or deleted.

Registration by parent or guardian

Children cannot register themselves on the website. Registration has to be performed by a parent or guardian. If we need to collect a child’s personal information, the information has to be provided by a parent or guardian who provides parental consent in accordance with legislation. To make sure that the consent was not given erroneously, we send an e-mail to the relevant parent or guardian explaining what information we collect and how we intend to use it. If parents do not wish to give their consent or deny it, they can request for its removal by emailing us on admin@fastheroes112.com, we will erase all information we have collected from the child, including adult contact information we have requested, for approval.

Selection and control options for parents

Parents or guardians may at any time prohibit us from using and collecting any other personal information about their child. Parents or guardians may ask us to delete from our records the personal information we have collected in connection with their child’s account.

Collect and use the personal information of children

Here are some examples of when we collect data from children:

When families register online.

On our websites, we may offer a variety of services, such as content, games and competitions. Families are asked to provide personal information. Personal data of children under the age of 16 is recorded only to a limited extent and only to the extent permitted by law or with the consent of the parents. For example, under the aforementioned conditions, the parent creates a user profile in the name of a child and has the option to link that profile to the child’s school and class. This is done so that the child can take part in the program on behalf of their school or class. We strongly recommend that parents create a nickname for their children that does not contain any personal information.

When we collect a child’s personal information, the information will only be retained for as long as we need it to provide the service or as required by law.

Participating through a school/organization

If a child takes part in the campaign through his/her school or through any other organization the teacher/ambassador will be able to see the child‘s name/nickname, registration status and progression through the online program in order to facilitate a complete implementation of all planned activities. No other personal information of the child is shared.
